Accessibility.

The work claims WCAG AA. The site has to pass too.

How it is built.

  • Standard. WCAG 2.2 AA is the target for every page.
  • Markup. Plain HTML, no framework. One h1 per page, headings in order, a skip link.
  • Keyboard. Every link, button, disclosure, and diagram is reachable by Tab, with a visible focus ring.
  • Contrast. Every text colour measured against its background. Lowest pair: 4.65 to 1.
  • Motion. Animation stops when the system asks for reduced motion.
  • Images. Alt text names the artifact and the discipline it shows.

What is known to be imperfect.

  • Screenshots. Text inside interface images is not readable as text. Captions carry the decision, not every label.
  • Video. The walkthrough player is Loom's. Its controls and captions are theirs.
  • Screen readers. Keyboard and automated checks so far. A full VoiceOver pass is still to do.
